Engineering & Project Management
Engineering & Project Management Department is primarily responsible for Planning, Scheduling, Execution, Monitoring and Control of Engineering Services Projects. All projects undertaken by ESPL are executed by a project engineering team containing personnel dedicated to the work. This way we can offer fully integrated services using expertise available from within the company.
The project engineering team is led by an Project / Engineering Manager and comprises a team of dedicated and skilled engineers, as needed. It is formed at the start of each project and remains intact until the project is completed. The size and composition of this project engineering team is determined by the actual project requirements during various phases of the project. The project engineering team prepares an Execution Plan to ensure that Client’s requirements are met and periodic audits are carried out to check compliance. Strong planning, monitoring and control enable ESPL to efficiently complete projects on time and within the budget, while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction.
A Project Control System is used to monitor and control each Project and to evaluate the actual work productivity. Basic inputs at the planning stage are area-wise and discipline-wise list of activities, along with estimated resources for each activity, based on the project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). Outputs are different management reports showing project progress, productivity and man-hours consumption, cost etc.
